I am glad to announce that in June we successfully passed the external audit that evaluated the conformity of our Quality Management System with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2015.
This required a huge effort from the entire Flowing Code team, which began last year when we decided to take the first step to improve our processes and services, with the desire to generate maximum value for our customers.
The ISO process
It was a long journey that involved rethinking our processes, several internal discussions, a lot of planning, and help from every single member of our company. We went to the root of each operational aspect, focusing on our customers considering all related parties. We carefully inspect the workflow of our development services, listening to those responsible for the process and noting the things they use to improve.
Our quality policy was defined and published, reflecting the principles that govern our actions.
In the process we had to customize and implement different tools for defining, setting up and executing our QMS.
We set new goals and begin to measure everything in order to have enough information for decision making and feed the cycle of continuous improvement.
And all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. It took a long time and a lot of effort but now this important goal was achieved and it is time to thank everyone that helped us to reach this significant milestone.

First of all, to the entire Flowing Code Team. Every single member understood the importance of this endeavor from day one and they all prepared themselves for the steps in the process, provided meaningful feedback and actively participated in the entire journey. Thank you guys, you’re the best team ever.
Then I would like to thank Francisco, he’s the man in charge, the main implementer of this project, and also my friend. We really tested our friendship with the passion that we both dedicated to this effort that was mostly encouraged by our will to do things in the best possible way. It wouldn’t be feasible to achieve the certification with this quality degree without him.
I want to thank SOCIS Consultores. I remember the meetings with Marina, starting very early in the morning during the days of the pandemic. An excellent professional with a lot of experience, always willing to help with information and examples. She made the whole process an enriching experience. We learned a lot. A special mention to our customers, they understood from the beginning that the main idea is to deliver more and better, and they helped us by providing excellent feedback from the start. Now you can rest assured that you’re getting the best from us.
And to TÜV Rheinland, specially Martin, who made our effort to shine, by going through every single detail of the entire system giving really meaningful and useful feedback, making sure that everything done complied with the requirements of the standard and guaranteeing that the circle of continuous improvement that we implemented was our guide in the path to excellence.
Finally I also want to thank my family, that was my solid rock foundation to overpass the stress and always being there for me.
This is just the beginning. Now we know for sure that the only way is to improve. Always.
